We recently commissioned and tested a pair of access controlled Record DFA127 swing doors at Ipswich University. One of the major important factors in the installation of these automatic doors was safety. We cordoned the area off completely and we wore PPE the whole time on site.
As this was an educational requirement, safety is paramount but so to is professionalism and meeting the deadline, something that we at ADS take in our stride.
The doors integrated with the existing fire system with interfacing mag locks and the whole automatic door installation was tested and is fully compliant to EN16005 standards.
